Thank you for visiting my blog. It captures the story of my service as a volunteer in Zambia but represents only my views--not that of Peace Corps.

Meeting the US Ambassador
On April 19 the 8 Mpika Peace Corps volunteers met with Mark Storella, the US Ambassador to Zambia. We are standing in the doorway of Bayama's restaurant where we had a very relaxing conversation and buffet lunch.
I am not quite clear whether your tour is over or you are still in Zambia, after a visit to South Africa. Perhaps Mary Clouse has told you that her housemate from long ago PC is interested in both your experience in Zambia and in your contact with a friend of hers from Kano days. That would be Malcolm Swann, OBE, MD, who until about a year ago was the Medial Director at the Beit Cure Children's Orthopaedic Hospital in Lusaka. I believe he continues to live in Lusaka, and has a position not in direct care -- perhaps at the medical school. My email is: boydcinda@gmail.com and I will send Malcolm's info in an email to your address. Thanks. Lucinda
